Live Blog/Photos: St. Edward's Festival

Sunday rounds out four days of fun.

5:33 p.m.: I had to put an end to the live blog much earlier than I hoped because we had a little rain. Not a washout by any means, but wet laptops aren't good for local coverage. Don't let me discourage you. Head there for the live music tonight and bring a small umbrella. And enjoy!

5:12 p.m.: Syosset Patch has exclusive coverage of the most brutal blow-up baseball bat/microphone dust-up to hit the town in decades. Check out photos.

4:06 p.m. Forgot to mention that last night I ran back into Steven Giordano, who is organizing a record attempt next March for the world's longest soccer match in Syosset to benefit autism awareness. Says sponsorship is going great. I know I can't wait!

4 p.m.: Event event chairmen have time to win a fish in a plastic bag sometimes. Check out our good friend Jeff Zero in the pictures section.

3:43 p.m.: Short Notice is back onstage and the picnic tables are packed. This crew has quite the following.

3:37 p.m.: Just added another photo. My good buddy next to me at the pink elephant ride was jamming out to the band and reminding everyone that Syosset Patch is No. 1.

3:31 p.m.: Short Notice is taking a break but will be back onstage in a bit.

3:25 p.m.: My most enthusiastic Patch signee so far. She's starting a mother's group and couldn't believe she could post her own events and announcements on here. You can be next. Come see me next to pink elephants.

3:20 p.m.: Just added more photos, including Short Notice and my favorite T-shirt saying of the festival so far. (Note: He's not a Patch employee!)

3:06 p.m.: Folks, we have a sun sighting!

2:58 p.m.: My main man, Syosset Patch's new mascot, is back by my side today. If you missed the story, click here.

2:51 p.m.: Short Notice has hit the stage. They did a nice rendition of "Hard to Handle" to start off, so get here before you miss all their set.

2:47 p.m.: We're back at the fourth and final day of the St. Edward's Festival. Don't let the sky keep you from coming. The rain is holding off and the lot is filling up. Check out a few photos from last night and today before you head down.
