March 29: Good Friday, Library Closes Early

A rundown of events and reminders for Friday in Syosset and Woodbury.

1. Friday will be mostly sunny with temperatures hitting 54 degrees.

2. Good Friday will prompt holy services. Patch will bring you a schedule of services for the weekend on Friday.

3. All Syosset schools, including Our Lady of Mercy Academy and St. Edward's School, are closed Friday.

4. Syosset Library closes at 1 p.m. in honor of Good Friday. The library will be open Saturday and closed Sunday for Easter.

5. A home on Fox Hollow Road was reportedly broken into between 9:30-12:30 p.m. March 23. Full scoop here.
