Here is what you need to know for Wednesday:

  1. Today is Ash Wednesday - Lent starts, what will you be giving up for it? The on Jackson Ave. starts their at 12 p.m. in the chapel and at 7 p.m. in the Nave. At ministers will be available in church from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. to administer ashes. 
  2. The Syosset Library to the 2011 Philadelphia International Flower Show. The Bus leaves Syosset/Woodbury Park at 7:30 AM and leaves Philadelphia approximately 5 p.m.
  3. at Fitness & Racquetball - Free and open to all. Enjoy a complimentary mini-facial, massage or acupunture treatment, free product samples, door prizes and much more. Call (516) 496-3100 for more information. 
  4. at the from 4 - 5 p.m. - For kids in grades 4-5, this event is a creative hour of Lego brick building with exciting weekly themes, tips and tricks and the chance to showcase your Lego building talents. Call library for more info at 516-921-7161 for more info.
