National Honor Society Ceremony and Food Drive

Happy Wednesday to you, and welcome to "5 Things You Need to Know Today." Each weekday we'll be putting a little extra spotlight on some of the things that are going on in the Syosset area. While we do our best to keep up with what's going on, we can always use your help. If you don't see something that should be on the list, don't be afraid to let us know!

*Food Drive - Donate food for Thanksgiving! Drop off any non-perishable food and other essentials in the marked bins outside the student lobby at

*The  is helping us stay in shape for the holiday season with their "class at 4 p.m. Make sure to call first to check for availability at 516-921-7161.

*The library also hosts its popular weekly  program at 4 p.m., for kids in grades 3-5. Also please check with library first for availability.

*The l National  is tonight at 7 pm at the high school! Congrats to all students involved!

*The Mort Kunstler exhibition  continues at the  in Roslyn. Contributor  covered his book signing this past Sunday, and we'll have the full story for you this morning!
