4. Learn something new

- Learn more about your family’s roots at classes offered at the Syosset Public Library on Wednesday, Jan. 5 at 7 pm. 

- Challenge your mind by learning the how to master the addictive puzzle of Sudoku at the library's introduction or advanced on Jan. 20 at 2 pm. 

- Learn a new hobby with Joyce Tobkes as she teaches you the skill of on Tues, Jan. 4 and Tues, Jan. 18 at the library. 

- Learn a new language

- Learn how to become the next Top Chef

Chef Charlie Walsh will be at the Syosset Library on Wednesday, Jan. 19 for a demonstration and sampling of soups and recipes for you to try at home.
