Nov. 23: Shopping Discounts and Town of Oyster Bay Meeting

Happy Tuesday to you, and welcome to "5 Thing You Need to Know Today." Each weekday we'll be putting a little extra spotlight on some of the things that are going on in the Syosset area. While we do our best to keep up with what's going on, we can always use your help. If you don't see something that should be on the list, don't be afraid to let us know!

1. The  is this morning at 10 a.m. The meeting is held in the Town Hall East Hearing Room, which is located at 54 Audrey Ave. in Oyster Bay. Come out and let your voice be heard!

2. If you're awake and looking to release some tension, head to the  and participate in held in the Meeting Room. The program starts at 7:15 a.m., so hurry! Please make sure to call the library to check for availability for all programs.

 3. Love to play ? Head back to the library at 3 p.m. to play!

4. Can't wait for American Idol to start? WCWP 88.1, the radio station at C.W. Post, hosts its weekly  - Each week, a past Idol contestant/winner is interviewed Tuesday at 4 p.m., so make sure you tune in to see how the guest is this week! If you can't find a radio, head to MyWCWP.org to listen.

 5. Turkey day is almost here! 

on 271 Jericho Turnpike has a bunch of holiday specials this week. Their all-natural frozen turkeys, which range from 10 to 22 lbs, can be had for as little as 29 cents per pound (when an additional $50 purchase is made).
