Nov. 28: Sandy Relief, Open House
A rundown of events and reminders for Wednesday in Syosset and Woodbury.
1. Wednesday will be a little less wintry than Tuesday, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures hitting 42 degrees.
2. A Syosset High School student reportedly contracted viral meningitis and the district is warning students to keep an eye out for symptoms. Check out the full message here.
3. St. Edward the Confessor School holds an open house 7-8:30 p.m.
4. Head to Woodbury Jewish Center at 6:30 p.m. for a fundraiser to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. 100 percent of the profits will go to New York Cares for the Sandy Relief Fund. Check out event details here.
