Testing season is now in full force for students across the country, many of whom are all scrambling to ace identical exams.
Standardized test results are now considered so crucial to a child's future that preparation has arguably become the whole of their educational career. Some champion the exams as an objective means to gauge academic proficiency, while others see it as a misguided panacea that sacrifices the more nuanced educational values in favor of rote learning.
