Shelter Animal of the Week: Bob the Border Collie

Don't you just love his name?

Every week on Patch, we feature an animal from a local shelter that we think could make a great addition to your home.

The Town of Oyster Bay Animal Shelter may be the perfect place for you to begin your pet search. Bob, a Border Collie from the shelter, was found as a stray, to the surprise of shelter workers. Workers say that Bob is very young, so he might need some training. Bob has been neutered and is all up to date with his routine shots.

You can check out Bob and all the other pets at the shelter on the North Service Road of the LIE, by South Oyster Bay Road in Syosset (150 Miller Pl.)

The shelter is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed on Sundays and holidays. Call 516-677-5784, or check out the animals online here.
