Shelter Animal of the Week: Smokey

Looking for a pet? Adopt Smokey now!

Every Sunday, we feature an animal from the Town of Oyster Bay Shelter, that we think could make a great addition to your home.

This week's selection is Smokey, a domestic medium-hair cat. Smokey is a male, and is all up-to-date with his routine shots. Shelter workers say that Smokey would rather sleep than play, so if you're not very active, he could make a good partner!

You can check out Smokey and all the other pets at the shelter on the North Service Road of the LIE, by South Oyster Bay Road in Syosset (150 Miller Pl.). Remember, adoption for dogs and cats at the shelter is free for the month of September! Check out our Town of Oyster Bay Notebook Sunday for more details.
