Syosset Gas Price Update

Every Monday, we try to find you where you can fill up to save the most money. We are getting to the point where "cheapest gas" isn't exactly cheap anymore - lowest gas prices have increased 24 cents in the past two weeks alone.

While we may not be giving you the prices we'd all like, we hope we can save you a little bit of money.

The prices below are taken from Motor Trend's website, which bases its information on credit card transactions. Some stations offer cheaper prices for cash-only purchases, and prices are subject to change.

• Regular: The Mobil station at 251 Jericho Turnpike for $3.639 a gallon. 
• Plus: The Mobil at 200 S. Oyster Bay Rd. for $3.719 a gallon.
• Premium: The Hess at 42 Jericho Turnpike for $3.859 a gallon.
• Diesel: The Shell at 7 Jackson Avenue for $3.949 a gallon. 

*In Plainview, the cheapest regular gas is offered at the Hess at 895 Old Country Road for $3.659 a gallon and in Oyster Bay, the Hess at 16 Pine Hollow Road has regular for $3.699.
