Syosset Judge Ross to Receive Award

He's being honored for his work in matrimonial law.

Syosset resident Robert A. Ross, supervising judge of the Nassau County Matrimonial Center, will receive the Rick Keidel Memorial Tribute Wednesday from the Nassau County Bar Association Matrimonial Law Committee.

The award is presented each year to an individual for his or her dedication and contributions to the committee and to the practice of matrimonial law. The tribute was established in 2006 after the passing of then-committee chair Keidel.

"Justice Ross is an extraordinary supervising judge," said Nassau County Administrative Judge Anthony Marano. "He is an innovative jurist and a tireless advocate for those who rely on our system of justice."
