Syosset Weather Forcast, May 30-June 5

Summer is here. Cue the thunderstorms.

Like an annoying kid brother, thunderstorms and showers will be appearing out of nowhere in the beginning of the week to bother us and run away. On Thursday the weather evens out with a high of 83 and lots of sun continuing through Sunday with the occasional cloud.

Memorial Day: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 87. West wind between 7 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Monday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69. Southwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. North wind 6 to 9 mph becoming south. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 67. South wind between 3 and 8 mph. 

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 83. 

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. 

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 78. 

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. 

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 80. 

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 62.
