Syosset Weather Forecast, March 21-27

Expect some cold and rainy days this week.

Today marks the first full day of spring, but it sure doesn't feel like it. Don't be surprised if we get a little snow Monday and Wednesday, and be careful as roads could be slippery. 

Listed below is the weather forecast for Syosset for the week, according to the National Weather Service. 

Today: Rain and snow before 2pm, then a chance of rain. High near 45. South wind between 9 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no snow accumulation expected. 

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 51. North wind between 13 and 16 mph. 

Wednesday: A chance of snow before 10am, then a chance of rain and snow between 10am and 1pm, then rain likely after 1pm. Cloudy, with a high near 40. North wind at 7 mph becoming east. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. 

Thursday: 
A chance of snow before noon, then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 41. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 39. 

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. 

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43.
