Syosset's power outage numbers plummeted Wednesday to 34 total homes without power.
Just one day after reports that Syosset had the highest outage numbers in Town of Oyster Bay, numbers dropped dramatically from 535 to 34, according to Long Island Power Authority.

Woodbury's numbers also dropped to less than five reported outages Wednesday compared to Tuesday's 81, LIPA reported.
Plainview has the highest amount of outages in TOBAY at 103 reports. The total amount of outages in the Town is 915.
5,747 homes remain without power in Nassau County.
LIPA warned customers remaining in the dark on Twitter, writing Wednesday, "If you know your home is going to be reconnected to the electric grid, unplug electronics so that they are not damaged by a power surge."
