The first part of winter had been relatively mild and this week has brought the first truly biting temperatures of 2013. That means icy roads, which caused two accidents on Mill River Road in Oyster Bay Tuesday morning, according to Nassau County Police.
Where are the most notoriously icy roads in and around Syosset and Woodbury? Is it worse on the busier street, highways, or residential neighborhoods? Is there one road all residents know to avoid in the winter?
