Who is the greatest person in Syosset? Who, through sheer dedication, has helped the community for the better? Who in the neighborhood has gone above the and beyond to inspire you and others? Has anyone responded to a community need and addressed it with exceptional force and passion?

haha Good to know, guys! But seriously now, are there any people that have gone above and beyond in their work for others? Whether they were responding to issues in the community, starting a foundation or non-profit, anything like that?

Judy Jacobs. There simply isn't anyone who has done more for the health, safety and welfare of area residents as Judy has year after year.

Gus Scutari a WW2 veteran that tirelessly run the Memorial Day Parade since 1992. While this only an annual event, all those veterans including the ones that died should be in our hearts and minds every day. Judy is a good lady too, but havent we had enough with politicans? Doing good is just driving away people with these unaffordable taxes.
