Community Service Fair Scheduled at Jericho High School
On Thursday, Jan. 31, the Jericho School District will host the 13th annual Jericho Community Service Fair from 7 – 9 p.m.
This event, held in conjunction with the high school’s course information night, provides all parents and students with an opportunity to meet with representatives from local charity organizations regarding service opportunities. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about the various courses offered at Jericho High School.
Last year, over 25 local charity and community service organizations participated in the fair. Service opportunities range from assisting at a bird sanctuary, museum, community center, elder care, and crisis centers, as well as others. The event will he held in the Sam Springer Gymnasium and service opportunities will be available for students and parents.
Also scheduled that evening is the “Incoming Freshman Students and Parents Meeting” in the Middle School/High School auditorium from 7-8 p.m.
