Born in Brooklyn but raised in Lindenhurst, Long Island’s own Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo are best known for their ten platinum albums and 19 Top 40 singles including “Heartbreaker,” “We Belong,” “Love Is A Battlefield,” “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and “Invincible.” Pat Benatar was one of the most heavily played artists during the early days of MTV. A four time Grammy Award winner, Pat Benatar and her producer/guitarist Neil Giraldo were married in 1982 and have two daughters. The ups and downs of her fascinating and extraordinary career are chronicled in her memoir, Between a Heart and a Rock Place, which was published in 2010.
