Bundle up the kids and get ready for one of Syosset’s most eagerly anticipated annual events! On Sunday, December 2, the Syosset Chamber of Commerce presents its 15th Annual Holiday Lighting Spectacular at the Astoria Bank Plaza in downtown Syosset. Beginning at 4:00pm (with complimentary snacks and warm refreshments served at 3:30pm), the event is highlighted by a one-hour holiday concert, the lighting of the community Christmas tree and menorah, and a visit from Santa Claus.
This year’s concert will feature performances by some of Syosset’s most talented vocal soloists, dancers, and choirs. Plus, Owen Photography of Syosset will be on hand to take photos with Santa!
The Syosset Holiday Lighting Spectacular typically draws upwards of 500 enthusiastic community members, so be sure to arrive early to find a parking spot. Dress warm, but don’t let a little late-day chill keep you away. The memory of this event will long outlast a few shivers!
