Brooke Jackman Race for Literacy

Race for Literacy, Saturday, May 14, 2011

Come spend a fun spring day at the 6th Annual Brooke Jackman Foundation Race for Literacy. The 5K run/walk will take place on Saturday, May 14th at the Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School in Oyster Bay beginning at 10:15 a.m. Proceeds to benefit and support youth literacy, supply books and build libraries for underprivileged children in the greater New York area.

Long Island’s own WBAB will be there promoting the race. Dozens of prizes will be awarded to winners in all age categories, and each participant will receive a T-shirt and water bottle commemorating the event. Whether you're participating in the race, sponsoring a walker/runner or volunteering, you'll have great day while helping to enhance a deserving child’s life and advance youth literacy to many children in need. Child under 10? No problem! Again this year, the free 1/4 mile Fun Run for future Olympians will begin with arts and crafts at 9:15 am and the Fun Run starting at 9:45 with prizes for all awarded at the end

Want to be an official sponsor for the Race for Literacy? The foundation offers many great opportunities at all different price ranges. As a sponsor you will receive branded presence on the Foundation/Race materials to opportunities for prominent locations on the day of the race such as, at check in, finish line, race markers and on race t-shirt. ·     $1000- Prominent recognition at the event (signage at check in, at finish) and prominent recognition on front of the race t-shirt

·     $600- recognition at the event (signage) and prominent recognition on back of  t-shirt

·     $250- recognition at event and on tee shirt

*In addition there are signage opportunities for $400- along the route.

 *All of these components will be clearly marked and announced at the race with prominent signage.
