Baby Boy Delivered in Syosset Home

A baby boy was successfully delivered by emergency responders in a Syosset home Friday.

According to police, at 7:35 p.m., Second Precinct officers and an ambulance responded to a call for a 35-year-old woman in labor in a Pickwick Drive West home. 

Following arrival, officers and an Ambulance Medical Technician (AMT) successfully delivered a baby boy at 7:50 p.m. Both mother and baby were transported to a nearby hospital and are doing fine, cops added.
