Jacobs Honors Outgoing Variety Child Learning Center Principal

Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) attended the Retirement dinner in honor of outgoing Principal Judy Tabak of the Variety Child Learning Center. The event was held at Westbury Manor on Wednesday, July 31.

Jacobs, a longtime supporter of  the school which helps children with special needs, has a special, personal, recent bond as her grandson, Spencer, was the beneficiary of their excellent education.

“I have been a supporter for the last thirty years, having spent a number of those years serving on the Board of Directors. This school works magic as they touch the lives of the children and the families and help all to, not only survive, but to thrive. I wish Judy Tabak wonderful years of retirement. Her leadership and caring and compassion will be missed,” said Jacobs.
