Jacobs Speaks at Jericho M.S. Bully Prevention Program

Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) was invited as the distinguished guest to speak at the Jericho Middle School on a very special day where the entire school was involved in a bully prevention program. The students participated in a “Walk the Talk” event in the morning and they were given “shoe charms” for every mile they walked around the track.

The Jericho Middle School Bully Prevention Committee in coordination with the Jericho Wellness Coalition implements the Olweus program as an addition to their existing efforts to combat bullying in the school and community.
