I wish there was an option to give no star, that is what I would have given this so called day camp. My son, who is almost 6 now has been going to camps/ day cares since he was 21 month old baby and we have switched quite a few across different states due to the constant move but have to say never experienced anything like this. To begin with the so called Director?!? Sonu is a joke, she would appear to be pleasant if she thinks you are a potential customer but forget about any niceties once you enroll your child. My son experienced frequent nose bleeds at the camp and the teacher did not notify us and on top of that when we inquired said that she checked and nothing like this happened and called my son and his friend a liar. Fortunately for us one of the teachers stepped up and said it did happen the week before (poor girl I am sure she is in trouble now). When asked how can you not inform the parents her reply was ‘Oh you know there is so much going on here it must have slipped my mind’. Really, it didn’t cross your mind even after I mentioned it and my husband mentioned it twice? And instead of apologizing the so called Director said ‘Oh! It’s not like he got hurt or we hit him!!!’. Firstly, how dare you think of hitting a child (keep in mind she is running a child care camp, there’s the joke). Secondly, its common sense that a child needs to be taken to doctor if something like this happens frequently, which we didn’t do since we were not aware. I did what any sensible parent in their right mind would do, took my son out of that camp immediately. To run an institute like that an individual needs to have compassion and patience for children and an understanding that when a parent leaves their child with you they are putting all their faith/ trust in you that you will take care of that child. I did not see that at all at this institute, I have heard complaints from my son and his friend of being yelled at by teacher for no reason and not just them the whole class, heck when my son had the bleed instead of having a teacher help him his friend was helping him with the ice pack since he was holding a tissue to his nose. Can you think of sending you kid to an institute like that. I don’t think any sensible parent would, so beware!!
