Mother's Day Weekend Planner: May 12-13

Brunch it up, sweep the streets, and help cure cancer this Mother's Day weekend.


Be a part of this fun and productive event to spiff up Syosset in time for Memorial Day! Volunteers will join TOBAY Councilman Chris Coshignano in picking up trash, planting flowers, and beautifying the downtown parade route. Bring your own trash grabber if you have one!

One all nighter that doesn't involve studying, this event takes place across the nation celebrating the lives of those whose lives have been touched by cancer and raises money for cancer research. The event will be heart-wrenching at times, but will quickly turn to the positive and celebratory!
Where:
When: Sat., 5 p.m. (opening ceremonies); Luminaria at nightfall (around 8:30 p.m.); free dinner for cancer survivors and their caregivers at 3 p.m.
Price: Free admission

Syosset High School Softball Playoffs vs. Farmingdale
Cheer the lady Braves as they battle the Dalers on the diamond!

Have a lovely Mother's Day brunch provided by Periwinkles Catering of Oyster Bay.
