Syosset Then and Now: Old Burger Square

What ever happened to this Jericho Turnpike eatery?

The bustling little Long Island town of Syosset has had many facelifts over the years. Original structures have been remodeled and replaced, leaving just a shadow of the good old days of horse-drawn carriages and general stores.

But if you look closely, sometimes you can see old Syosset hidden among the new constructions. We'll be bringing you back to the old Syosset with the help of A Syosset Scrapbook and helpful photo donors.

What ever became of Square Burgers? This quintessential 1960s budget joint is no longer a stop on Jericho Turnpike, but the memory still remains of this little eatery. Do you know where it was located on Jericho? Did you ever eat there?

Give us your best historic guess and share a few memories in the comments below! Bonus points if you can tell us what stands there now or if you can snap a photo of what stands there today.
