Mourning Sister Jackie, OLMA senior to document diversity, and updates on the Oyster Bay boat capsizing.

Topping headlines this week was the sudden death of beloved St. Edward the Confessor nun, Sister Jackie Walsh. She was killed in a hit-and-run in Water Mill Monday night. Here are the stories written about the tragedy in order of publication:

A Syosset woman and Woodbury man face drug charges after being pulled over for speeding upstate and state troopers discovered an array of drugs in the car.

Thomas Cronin, 49 of the Bronx, went to at about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday and took about $140 from the cash register, forcibly confronting a witness as he fled the scene, said police.
