I was decluttering my kid's art supply closet as part of my 2012 New Year's resolution when I came upon a nutrition article from 2008 nestled in the crayon box. The article published in the January issue of the Public Library of Science reported findings from a study in England. The study analyzed the health and lifestyles of more than 20,000 people, finding four habits that could add 14 years to your life.
- Be physically active
- Do not smoke
- Drink alcohol only moderately
- Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day

Amazingly, being more organized is not on the list, which I guess is lucky for me because after I found the article, I left the art supply closet a mess and the breakfast dishes on the table and went for a bike ride on this gorgeous winter day. I'm thinking with all of those added years I will have plenty of time to do the dishes.
