Funeral Set Monday for Train Victim
Huntington man was hit by train at the Syosset LIRR station.
A funeral service has been scheduled for a Huntington man who was killed by a train Tuesday morning.
Travis Rittenhouse, 34, was struck by an eastbound train when he attempted to cross the tracks from one platform to the other at the Syosset Long Island Rail Road station.
Visitation is Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the M.A. Connell Funeral Home.
The funeral is at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, followed by internment at the Huntington Rural Cemetery.
