Josephine Brutsch of Syosset died on Nov. 4 at age 82.
Brutsch was an active member of the Syosset Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for 64 years and a devoted parishioner of St. Edward Confessor RC Church.
She was the wife of the late Robert J. Brutsch, mother of Deborah (Kevin), grandmother of Robert James and Matthew Joseph Crehan, aunt to 11 nieces and nephews and great aunt to many.
Brutsch's funeral mass was held on Saturday at St. Edward Confessor RC Church. She was buried in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury.
