Happy Hour Specials at Philippe by Philippe Chow

Renowned restaurateur's local new addition features weeknight specials.

The Syosset area has a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, and more are welcomed into the neighborhood often. Recently we have become the location of choice for famed restaurateur Philippe Chow’s newest venture: Philippe by Philippe Chow (399 Jericho Turnpike, Jericho).

Philippe offers high end dining with an Asian flair. While most of the menu is in the high-price range, Philippe features both dining and drink specials.

It is rare for more expensive restaurants to have deals on their menus; Philippe is a great find for this. The trendy eatery features a Happy Hour on weeknights from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. What does Happy Hour mean for you? Half-priced drinks and complimentary appetizers at the bar – perfect for unwinding after work or killing time before a dinner date.

Philippe offers a wide variety of specialty drinks, so be adventurous. Try a Sheung Lung Cocktail: Grey Goose vodka, muddled Asian pair with basil, honey and freshly squeezed lemon juice. The signature Philipptini is a great choice, too with Absolut vodka, lychee, fresh pineapple juice, Triple Sec and a splash of Chambord. The menu notes that the Philipptini tastes like a “sweet grapefruit.”  The Shanghai Philippe is a perfect summer selection made with Stoli Strawberry vodka, Elderflower syrup, champagne and muddled fresh strawberries.

The chef chooses the complimentary appetizers nightly. Philippe is known for their Peking Duck, featured in spring rolls as a starter option. Classic Chinese choices like glazed spare ribs, shrimp toast and scallion pancakes are also featured on the menu, among others.

Philippe by Philippe Chow is a great new addition to the Syosset area, but the restaurant does not come with bargain prices. Take advantage of Happy Hour to get a discount on Manhattan-priced drinks ($19 for an Espresso Martini) and a free taste of the fabulous cuisine.
