Panera Bread is indulging Long Island’s seafood lovers by introducing a New England style Shrimp Salad Roll stuffed with large whole shrimp and an all-new Lobster Roll. Each is served on a freshly baked New England roll, with lettuce and avocado, tossed with lemon tarragon mayo and topped with chopped basil together with every fisherman’s friend, Old Bay seasoning.

Available starting May 9th through September and priced at $10.99 for the shrimp, $16.99 for the lobster, Panera Bread’s hardy seafood sandwiches go nicely with the cafe’s Summer Chowder, a delightful combination of roasted corn and red potatoes slowly simmered with sweet cream, poblano peppers and cilantro.

Another refreshing addition to Panera’s seasonal menu is Chilled Shrimp & Soba Noodle Salad. In creating this new dish, Panera has tossed together cold spaghetti-like soba noodles made from buckwheat flour with a Napa cabbage blend and peanut sauce and placed the tasty noodles alongside a fresh baby spinach salad tossed with a flavorful orange miso dressing, topped with tender, chilled cooked shrimp and sprinkled lightly with sesame seeds. The new noodle salad joins Panera Bread’s other, recently added, pasta-inspired dishes: Tortellini Alfredo, Rustic Penne Bolognese, Pesto Sacchettini and, of course, their popular Mac & Cheese.
