A Syosset woman and Woodbury man face drug charges after being pulled over for speeding upstate and state troopers discovered an array of drugs in the car.
New York State Police pulled over a speeding car driven by Saverio Galasso, 29 of Woodbury, on the Taconic State Parkway in Gallatin, N.Y.
Samantha Paston, 19, of Syosset, and Jacob Riesenberg, 19 of Millburn, N.J., were also in the car, police said.
During the stop, troopers say they found LSD, marijuana, ecstacy, and Xanax inside the vehicle.
Paston, Riesenberg, and Galasso were charged with two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Galasso was also charged with speeding and driving while ability impaired by drugs.
All three were arraigned in the Town of Livingston Court where Judge Robert Moore sent them to Columbia County Jail on a $25,000 cash/$50,000 bond.
