3-Car Collision Backs Up Northern State
None reported injured in Monday evening accident.
Traffic was backed up in the eastbound lanes because of a three-car accident Monday evening, according to fire officials.
Syosset Fire Chief Pete Silver confirmed that fire crews responded to the accident, which reportedly occurred just before 6 p.m. Monday.
Farmingdale State Police confirmed they also responded to the crash.

The three-car collision near the Route 135 exit of the Northern State Parkway backed traffic up from the exit all the way to Route 106/107, according to the Patch Commute traffic map.
According to the map, the accident was projected to be cleared by 7 p.m.
