Bank Robbed in Nearby Jericho

A man handed a note to a teller, demanding cash.

Nassau County police are investigating a bank robbery in Jericho on Friday.

According to police, the Citibank at 1 Robbins Lane was robbed just before 1 p.m. when a man handed a note to a teller, demanding money.

The teller complied, and the man, who cops describe as Hispanic, between 20-and-30 years of age and about five-feet-six-inches tall, fled the scene in an unknown direction. 

Five employees and two customers were present for the robbery. No was was injured.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
