Eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway were partially closed Friday for rolling construction, according to police.
Nassau County Police reported Friday afternoon that the right and center eastbound lanes were closed for rolling construction from exits 44-46.
Police said the closures would continue until further notice.
The closures caused major delays between North Broadway and Woodbury Road areas of the expressway during construction, according to the Patch Commute map.
