Cops: 22 Computers Stolen from Syosset Elementary School

One or more thieves broke into the building between 3-7 a.m., police said.

Nassau County Police are investigating a break-in that occurred early Friday at a Syosset elementary school in which 22 computers were stolen, authorities said.  

Detectives say one or more thieves broke into the South Grove Elementary School on Colony Lane by smashing a rear window of the school between 3-7 a.m. while the building was closed. 

A school employee discovered the damage and that the 22 Apple computers valued at more than $20,000 were missing, and called police, detectives said.
