Cops: 5 Burglaries, 7 Grand Larcenies Reported

Incidents reported in the Second Precinct.

Five burglaries and seven grand larcenies were reported in the second precinct between Sept. 16 and 24, say Nassau police. 

Casey Arena, 19, of Hicksville was charged in connection with a burglary at Harry's Pharmacy in Hicksville on Sept. 22 in which Vicodin pills were stolen. Arena and two others were arrested Monday following pharmacy robberies in Glen Head and Locust Valley.

Ralph's Garden Center in South Farmingdale was ransacked and cash was stolen overnight between Sept. 21 and 22.

Cash was stolen from a bedroom on Elizabeth Drive in Bethpage on Sept. 19.

Cash was stolen and figurines knocked over in a bedroom on Orchard Street in Oyster Bay Sept. 18.

Assorted tools were stolen from a trailer at Aquacade Swimming Pools in Hicksville between Sept. 16 and 18.

An air compressor was stolen from Getty gas station in Bethpage overnight between Sept. 18 and 19.

A check was stolen from the mail at Telrad Telecommunications in Woodbury between Sept. 17 and 19.

Two New York State vehicle inspection stickers were stolen from Michael Drive in Syosset on Sept. 20.

A 7-Eleven in Farmingdale was robbed on Sept. 21. The person demanded cash from the register.

A 2000 Chevy Suburban was stolen from Lee Avenue in Hicksville between Sept. 20 and 21.
