Cops: Cars Keyed in Woodbury
11 cars vandalized in the area, including three in Woodbury, cops said.
Keyed cars in Woodbury were among 11 incidents of car vandalism reported within one week in the area, according to Nassau County Police.
Cops reported 11 cars with slashed tires, broken windows and windshields, and other damage in Wantagh, Levittown, Hicksville, Locust Valley, Bethpage, Farmingdale, and Woodbury.
In Woodbury, three on Pheasant Lane were vandalized overnight, cops said. The total damage amounted to two keyed cars and a broken antenna on another, according to reports.
The Second Precinct reported the following incidents:
- May 7: Criminal mischief; Willowood Drive, Wantagh; car spray painted.
- May 7: Criminal mischief; Jack LaLanne, Levittown; tires slashed on car.
- May 10: Criminal mischief; Broadway Mall, Hicksville; tires slashed on car.
- May 10: Criminal mischief; Farmingdale High School, Farmingdale; mirror broken on car.
- May 11: Criminal mischief; Forest Avenue, Locust Valley; tires slashed on car.
- May 12: Criminal mischief; North Wantagh Avenue, Bethpage; car keyed.
- May 12: Criminal mischief; Conklin Street, Farmingdale; window broken on car.
- May 14: Criminal mischief; 8th Avenue, South Farmingdale; window broken on car.
- May 15: Criminal mischief; Pheasant Lane, Woodbury; antenna broken on cars.
- May 15: Criminal mischief; Pheasant Lane, Woodbury; two cars keyed.
- May 15: Criminal mischief; West Barclay Street, Hicksville; windshield broken on car.
