Massapequa man called Cardworks clerk and left threatening message, say police.

By Joe Dowd

A Massapequa man was arrested Monday after allegedly threatening to blow up Cardworks in Woodbury in March, Nassau County police said.

According to police, on March 14, the 26-year-old store clerk at Cardworks received a call from an unknown male threatening to blow up the building. The clerk, along with her manager, called police.

After an investigation, on Monday at 12:30 a.m., Frank Zezulinski, 24, of Massapequa, was arrested at the Second Precinct. Zezulinski's girlfriend had recently been fired from the store prior to his making the call.

He was charged with second-degree falsely reporting an incident, and he was released with an appearance ticket. He's due back in court on Nov. 25.
