Cops: Jewelry, Cash Stolen from Syosset Home

Miller Boulevard house among four burglarized, cops said.

Jewelry and cash were stolen from a Syosset home last week, according to Nassau County Police.

A house on Miller Boulevard in Syosset was one of four reporting break-ins by Second Precinct officers last week. Others were reported in Levittown and Plainview.

During the break-in, which police say happened anywhere from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., jewelry and cash of unreported amounts were stolen from the house, cops said.

Laptops, flat screen televisions, and other items were taken in other burglaries, police reported.

The Second Precinct reported the following incidents:

  • June 1: Burglary; Furrow Lane, Levittown; laptop stolen from house.
  • June 7: Burglary; Miller Boulevard, Syosset; jewelry and cash taken from house.
  • June 8: Burglary; Azalea Road, Levittown; pocketbook and contents taken from house.
  • June 10: Burglary; Hope Court, Plainview; two flat screens taken from house.
