Cops: Motorized Wheelchair Stolen from Manetto Hill Jewish Center

Recent incidents reported in the Nassau Police Department second precinct.

A Jazzy brand motorized wheelchair was stolen from Manetto Hill Jewish Center in Plainview on Nov. 2, say Nassau Police. Numerous other thefts were also reported in the second precinct in the past week:

  • A laptop, iPad and wallet were stolen from a car on Melville Road in Farmingdale.  
  • A camera, a tool set and a computer were stolen from a car outside Midas Muffler in Syosset.
  • Two iPads and two dress shirts were stolen from Hazlewood Drive in Jericho. 
  • Thirty six bras and assorted perfumes were stolen from Victoria's Secret in the Broadway Mall. 
  • Cash was stolen on Gainesville Drive in Plainview. 
  • Jewelry was stolen on Albert Road in Hicksville. 
  • Cash was stolen on South Service Road in Jericho. 
Nine burglaries were reported:
  • Three watches, a lock box and assorted jewelry was stolen from a home on Mill River Road in Jericho. 
  • A door was broken in an attempted break in at a home on Church Street in Syosset.
  • A laptop, camera, assorted jewelry and cash were stolen from Arch Avenue in South Farmingdale. 
  • Cash was stolen from Village Drive in Jericho.
  • Jewelry was stolen from Dahill Road in Old Bethpage.
  • An iPad, laptop and jewelry were stolen from Pollock Place in Syosset.
  • A Samsung TV was stolen from Silber Avenue in Bethpage.
  • A front door was kicked in on South Marginal Road in Jericho. 
  • Damage was caused to the thermostat and bathroom  fixtures of Long Island Bariatric in Levittown.
