Cops: Six Burglaries Near Syosset

Police report break-ins in five communities nearby.

Six burglaries were reported in five communities near Syosset this week, according to Nassau County Police.

Bethpage, Farmingdale, Hicksville, Levittown, and North Massapequa reported burglaries within the last week, cops said.

Incidents ranged from break-ins with nothing stolen in Bethpage to a burglary at a Levittown nail spa where a cash box was stolen, police reported.

Syosset escaped unscathed this week, according to NCPD reports.

  • Aug. 23: Burglary; Hicksville Road, Bethpage; Kell Place, Seaford; nothing taken.
  • Aug. 25: Burglary; Goodyear, Farmingdale; window broken, nothing stolen.
  • Aug. 25: Burglary; Kabab House, Hicksville; cash stolen, rear door pried.
  • Aug. 26: Burglary; Grape Vine, Bethpage; roof broken, cash stolen, safe damaged.
  • Aug. 26: Burglary; Nail & Spa, Levittown; cash box stolen.
  • Aug. 27: Burglary; Jonel Lane, North Massapequa; assorted jewelry stolen.
