Cops: Syosset High School Student Made Terroristic Threats

17-year-old arrested Wednesday morning, say police.

A Syosset High School student was arrested Wednesday morning for making alleged terroristic threats, police say. 

According to detectives, a teacher at Syosset High School was talking with Alexander I. Passe, 17, of Syosset. During the conversation Passe stated that he was unhappy at the school and “ wants to blow it up.” 

The incident was reported to the administration who then notified the police. Second Squad detectives responded to Passe’s residence and placed him under arrest without incident at 8:15 a.m.

Passe was charged with one count of making terroristic threats. He was arraigned on Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
