Police: Syosset Man Arrested for Forgery, Admits to Burglarizing Home During Arrest

Police said they arrested Steven C. Constantino Monday and charged him with Forgery 2nd Degree and Burglary 2nd Degree.

A Syosset man was arrested Monday for stealing money from a woman's checking account after forging a check and admitted to cops that he burglarized a home in Syosset in January of 2010 during his arrest Tuesday, according to police. 

Police arrested Steven C. Constantino, 22, of Honey Drive in Syosset Tuesday and charged him with Burglary 2nd Degree and Forgery 2nd Degree.

During the arrest Tuesday, police said the home Constantino admitted to burglarizing a home back on January 4, 2010. Police did not say if Constantino knew the woman he allegedly stole the money from.

Constantino was arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead Tuesday.
