Cops: Three Cars Stolen Nearby

Cops report several car-related thefts and break-ins.

Three cars were stolen and six cars broken into near Syosset last week, according to Nassau County Police.

Cars in Hicksville and Farmingdale were stolen over a three-day period, while items were taken from cars in Levittown, Jericho, and Hicksville, cops said.

In nearby Jericho, an iPad, iPhone, laptop, and Kindle reader were taken from a car on South Marginal Road, police reported.

Also nearby, cars were reported stolen on South Gate in Hicksville, Star Supermarket in Farmingdale, and Nassau Door and Window in Hicksville.

The Second Precinct reported the following crimes:

  • April 19: Stolen car; South Gate, Hicksville.
  • April 19: Stolen car; Star Supermarket, Farmingdale.
  • April 22: Stolen car; Nassau Door and Window, Hicksville.
  • April 23: Grand larceny; Hunter Business School, Levittown; cash, iPod, Tori Burch wallet stolen from car.
  • April 24: Grand larceny; LA Fitness, Levittown; credit card, pocketbook, cash stolen from car.
  • April 27: Grand larceny; Hyacinth, Levittown; Chanel sunglasses, black clutch stolen from car.
  • April 29: Grand larceny; Thimble Lane, Hicksville; pocketbook, shoes stolen from car.
  • April 29: Grand larceny; Meeting Lane, Hicksville; pocketbook, credit card stolen from car.
  • April 30: Grand larceny; S. Marginal Road, Jericho; iPad, laptop, iPhone, Kindle stolen from car.
