Burglary incidents didn't die down in Syosset as residents prepared for Hurricane Sandy.

Nassau County Police reported eight burglaries and two robberies in the Syosset area the week before Sandy hit.
In Syosset, one burglary was reported on Loretta Drive where cash and jewelry were reported stolen.
Also in Syosset, four local teens face burglary charges after they stole several items from the Syosset Dairy Barn, cops said.
Nassau County Police reported that Angelo Hutter, 16, of Syosset, Solomon Park, 16, of Jericho, Andrew Hong, 16, of Jericho, and an unidentified 15-year-old from Woodbury were arrested for burglary Tuesday night. Read the full story here.

- Oct. 27: Burglary; Heather Lane, Plainview; jewelry stolen.
- Oct. 27: Burglary; Richfield Street, Plainview; front door kicked in, nothing stolen.
- Oct. 27: Burglary; Loretta Drive, Syosset; cash, jewelry stolen.
- Oct. 27: Deb Street, Plainview; jewelry stolen.
- Oct. 29: Robbery; Wantagh Avenue, Levittown; Oxycodone stolen.
- Oct. 30: Burglary; US Petroleum, Hicksville; lotter tickets, cash stolen.
- Oct. 30: Burglary; E. Old Country Road, Hicksville; cash, liquor stolen.
