Crime Report: Dunkin' Donuts Heists

Patch reports on recent crimes in the Syosset and Woodbury areas.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Second Precinct of the Nassau County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Nassau County Police reported five burglaries at both residential and commercial properties in the area. A robbery was also reported this week in Hicksville where cash, a watch, an iPhone, and jewelry were reported stolen.

Two masked men broke into and robbed two local Dunkin' Donuts shops in Plainview and Old Bethpage Sunday, according to Nassau County Detectives. Police said the men broke into two different stores, taking money from the office in one store and stealing a safe from another.
