A woman got away with an undetermined amount of cash after robbing a bank in Woodbury Tuesday afternoon.
At 5:45 p.m., a black female walked into the Capital One Bank at 8285 Jericho Tpke. She produced a note and demanded money. After the teller complied, the suspect fled on foot southbound toward Jericho Turnpike.
According to Robbery Squad detectives, the woman is approximately 6-feet tall, with a slim build and long black hair, and wearing a white tank top, tight jeans and a white baseball cap.
Detectives ask that anyone with information on the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
